Meet Brett Henderson

I am a passionate artist based in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. My journey, as an artist, began after my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2022, which led me to explore painting as a means of emotional expression.

I have developed a dominant style where I use objects to create depth and physical touch to my paintings. Bright colours are my palate preference, they provide a happy, unique artwork, that would look amazing on any wall.

In this painting I wanted create a character by using bits and pieces from my toolbox and shed.

20" x 16" in a black frame.

Acrylic paint and acrylic markers. Rope, plastic cylinders, skateboard tuck rubbers and screws for eyes.

A hook for the nose.

Sanding disc and clamp for the mouth.
